Switchboard

It is possible to start three-phase motors more economically by use Wye-Dleta starting method. In a wye configuration, line voltage is equal to the phase voltage divided by 1.73. The method employs a swith arrangement which place the motor stator winding in a wye configuration during stator winding in a wye configuration during starting and a delta arrangement for running.

Switchboard

Switchboard includes Main switchboards, to which the main generators are connected; Emergency switchboard, to which the emergency generator or emergency battery is connected ; Section boards (or Sub-boards) and Distribution boards.
