The maintenance of the gear pump

Open the discharge line during service or when standby.

During assembly, rotate the shaft, making sure that there is no obstacle.

Gear pumps can self priming, but it is not recommended to run the pump dry.

Maintenance should be done as schedule.

When installing the pump, make sure it can be rotated freely.
