Operations of a single tandem piston 2-stage reciprocating air compressor:
Air is sucked into the first stage compartment through air filters, by way of the first stage suction valve when the piston moves down.
When piston moves up, the air in the first stage compartment is discharged through the first stage delivery valve into the second stage compartment through the second stage suction valve. Simultaneously, second stage compartment air is discharged through the second stage discharge valve, through the non return valve into the air bottles.
